First Holy Communion Photo Sessions

Your child’s First Holy Communion is such a special milestone and is one that should be properly documented. These photos are far from the rigid and traditional posed photos of years past. Instead, the focus of my communion portrait sessions is centered on capturing candid and natural images of your child. I want you to have beautiful and artistic images that encapsulate this very special rite of passage for your child. Most clients choose the church as the setting for these images and I just love the dramatic natural light that a church provides for portraits. I also make sure to capture plenty of images that allow for a child's whimsical nature to shine through.

Details About the Session

As you all know, it is often difficult to capture quality photos on the day of an event. There is much chaos in preparing for a party, dressing the children, and the distraction of family members and guests. This is why I schedule all Communion portrait session 10-14 days before the event. This will allow me to photograph your child privately at the church and will ensure that you have your images to use on the day of the party. The session is scheduled on a weeknight about an hour to two hours before sunset. If your church allows photography, we can photograph your child at your own church.
