A Very Special Mother and Daughter Session
There is nothing I love more than photographing mothers and their children, but I love it even more when I get to capture 100% authentic moments, which was the case with this beautiful duo. This mother and daughter required very little directing or posing and when you scroll through the images, you can see how they simply radiate love and connection. I always try to get to know my clients prior to each session and I was so glad that I had the time to confer with mom and plan this special session. Mom wanted a location that was personal and she chose an are in Islip, NY close to their home at which she and her daughter spend a lot of time. Mom was nervous that her daughter, who is typically shy, would be resistant to the shoot, but from the start of the session, Miss I was a ball of personality; in fact, I spent much of the evening laughing along with little Miss I, who has such a bright and cheery personality and she regaled mom and I with her dance moves, cartwheels, and so much more...she was an absolute delight.
