September is only a week away and that means it is time for my annual holiday mini sessions. I recently announced this year's family campfire sessions and now it is time for me to reveal this year's beach holiday session. I am thrilled to finally be able to share the details of this year's holiday theme and I think you are all going to love it as much as I do.  

Last year, we built a sand snowman together on the beach and this year, I invite your child to set sail with me into the holiday season with my nautical themed holiday session. Your child will board my handmade driftwood sailboat, which will be decorated with subtle holiday decorations and a strand of globe lights.  The boat will be placed along the shoreline to give the appearance that it is about to set sail.  Your child will even be able to hoist the sail of the boat!  

I will have limited availability for these sessions.  The sessions are scheduled in the hour before sunset.  The sessions are 20 minutes in length and include 10 digital images delivered via full resolution download. Due to the size of the boat, this particular children's session works best for up to three children. The cost of the session is $275 and includes the session time, a private viewing gallery from which you will choose your 10 images to be fully edited and enhanced, delivery of the images via full resolution download, and a Pinterest board replete with updated wardrobe options.  The dates for the session are September 13th, 17th, 18th, 25th and 30th.     

I recently took my girls down to the beach to test out the boat. I had the most adorable dresses that I picked up from Popreal and they worked perfectly with the holiday nautical theme. We had the perfect night to shoot this session. It was a mild 73 degrees and the sunset sporadically broke through the clouds creating a beautiful and soft golden glow.  My girls had a blast pretending to sail the boat and I love their collection of images. I love that these images can be used for holiday cards, but also are universal enough to adorn your walls year round.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
