I can hardly believe that it is October and we are officially in the Fall season. The weather has started to cool down, school is in full swing, and I have already had my first pumpkin latte. I just love everything about the Fall. The weather is spectacular, the foliage is beautiful and I love Halloween and Thanksgiving.

This time of year is also my busiest of the year. Not only am I booked with holiday mini sessions, but many of my clients prefer to update their family photos during September and October, which is why I offer prop free Fall mini sessions. These sessions are perfect because you can update your family images and you can use them for holiday cards.

My recent client usually books holiday themed photo sessions around this time of year, but opted to do a Fall family session instead this year. I thought this was a great idea, as her girls are now middle school aged and it is a nice time to capture some sweet and cuddly moments with them.

This session took place on a cool, but beautiful, September evening at one of my favorite locations close to sunset time. This family is super sweet to work with and the girls are super upbeat and fun. I love the bond between these sisters. It really shines though each year when I photograph them and it truly is such a pleasure to watch them grow year to year.
