Summer, Please Don't End | Massapequa Family Beach Photographer

I can’t believe that today is Labor Day. I have to say that this was the fastest Summer season of my life. I was busy working with tons of families and children, but I also got a lot of quality time in with my family, friends, and neighbors. I am truly sad to say goodbye to Summer, but I lam looking forward to the Fall season too.

The majority of my sessions took place on the beach this season and I have no complaints about the location. I completely understand why so many families choose the shore as the location for family photos. It is beautiful, serene and families tend to laugh and play readily at the beach. Plus, a sunset not only provides the most flattering light, but provides gorgeous hues and tones for photos.

I know I always say it, but the family session is my favorite to photograph, especially ones with fun loving toddlers. The sessions are always unique and have a different energy. This recent session was so much fun to capture because the twins were a bundle of energy and all they wanted to do is laugh and play with each other and it was so sweet to watch. It is obvious that these siblings share a very strong bond and that they have a lot of fun together. Mom told me that these were the first professional photos they had taken since her wedding, so I wanted to make sure I got a proper blend of the natural and fun images along with the posed photos. The weather was a little erratic on the day of the shoot, but we ended up with a gorgeous and mild night and the sun even made an appearance.
